Although we initially planned to stay in all day, we bravely ventured out in -32 degree Celcius weather to drop our daughter off at her preschool's bake sale. Then we headed over to Costco to pick up some groceries and a few extra's for the Annual Candle Light Memorial Service we have planned for our community for tomorrow night, for parents who have lost a child of any age. Costco was busy but not crazy and we had no wait at all at the check out. Headed over to Home Sense and bought my administrator a neat Christmas gift, then to Michael's to buy her a gift card from our Board of Directors. Final stop was Tim Horton's, where my lovey bought me a delicious and so warm Gingerbread White Hot Chocolate and a Raspberry Bloom Donut. Scrumptious!!
We trekked home and basked in the warmth of our cozy home, with our shopping done for the weekend and no where to go until later tomorrow night. Can't wait for the warmer weather to arrive on Monday!
